Danger of extinction in the Yasuní
The species
in the Yasuní Natural Reserve are being affected by the destruction of their
ecosystems in addition to hunting and environmental pollution. This means that
these species are immediately extinct, leaving them to be part of the
extraordinary biodiversity of Ecuador.
The Yasuní nature reserve is one of the largest in America, taking the name "the lung of the world" with more than 98,200 hectares, which includes more than 2,000 species of trees, 204 species of mammals, 610 species of birds, 121 of reptiles, 150 amphibians and more than 250 species of fish. Which day by day are threatened by hunting, pollution and trafficking of species such as the alligator, spectacled bears, jaguars, etc. Bringing an irreparable loss that harms the survival of life on earth.
In
conclusion, if the human being continues with the traffic, contamination and
destruction of natural habitats, thousands of representative species of the
Yasuní park will be extinguished. Definitely one of the species that would
become extinct due to the loss of the world's lung would be the human being.
